Dr. Asti graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in December of 1977 and obtained a license to practice in his native state of California in 1978. While working as an associate with the renowned Adams Chiropractic Office in Santa Clara, he met the girl of his dreams and married in 1979. Together they opened the Menlo Park Chiropractic Office and for ten years developed a wonderful practice near Stanford University. As children arrived, the need for space and a simpler life unfolded in Fortuna, California. During their fourteen years there they managed one of the largest practices in Humboldt County. During this time Dr. Asti spent years in additional education becoming a board qualified chiropractic orthopedist. This propelled him into ten years of service to the state of California as a qualified medical evaluator. His expertise in Workers’ Compensation gave him the opportunity to determine and rate a patient’s permanent disability. Injured workers were referred to him from all over Northern California.

Inevitably their three beautiful children grew and set off to make their way in this wonderfully challenging world. Ariana, their oldest, came to Bend to follow her dream attending culinary school.

Dr. Asti and Susan felt the pangs of the “empty-nest syndrome” and decided to begin a new adventure and help Ariana and her husband Andres open a restaurant. Dr. Asti went back to school to acquire his Oregon license (taking boards again after 30 years) with the intent of eventually opening a small chiropractic office next door to the restaurant. Expecting the transition to take one year, three years later the goal was achieved. As of January of 2008 the office opened it’s doors.

If you’ve been fortunate enough to have dinner at Ariana Restaurant, you have experienced our family values of providing excellent service, consistently wonderful food and the most romantic ambiance you’ll find in Bend. These values are expressed in our chiropractic office as well. Warm, caring and a helpful atmosphere is felt upon entering. Susan manages the front office and immediately you feel welcome and confident that her knowledge and experience in dealing with insurance companies will allow you to feel secure in this ever-changing arena.
